I am an Audi A6 3.2l Quattro,MMi High Version 2g w/update 5.5.70: I read in an Audi TSB USA that reloading the MMI update software package would correct battery drain/sleep mode settings to correct dead battery about ever three days. I have MMI update 4LO 998 961 installed in my European Vehicle . The battery is not an Audi battery (Varta).

There are more guys, who can do it. (on facelifted A6/A7) without possibility activation CarPlay/Android Auto from Audi dealer. It costs from 150 to 300 USD. There is necessary to update the software in MMI. (there is no hardware difference between unit with and without carplay) SW in EU should be MHI2_ER_AU57x_P3634 (not source where download it)

Withing the DVD structure you will find an .iso file which contains the HTML and MPG files that would be used by the MMI in the car. With Windows, use VirtualCloneDrive freeware software to mount a new PC drive letter using the .iso file to see this content. On Linux, use "mount -r -t iso9660 -v boardbook.iso /mnt".

B5NUT. AUDI connect & AUDI phonebox is not wireless charging. There was a my change around my 17 where it was standard on techpack cars (not sure about rmc systems). Does your pad have the qi logo like in this image, if not then your car only has the wireless signal booster, not wireless charging.

It doesn't work when you just turn on the radio - For C7, D4, B9 platform, mulit-function steering buttons are not supported now, due to CANBUS security measures placed by Audi. We are trying to find solution for C7, D4, and B9, but it seems very hard and risky to do so. Only MMI console would work for those models now.
